Sutures i 01:54
You are taking so much from me So I’m making off Soul served for some future But I’m through chasing rumors I hear you calling my name It’s always felt just the same
2.
For Youth 05:14
If you want me to pretend I don’t think that I could heal again I woke in the morning dew Chide myself for winding up for youth I’m sorry if I’m too discrete Stubborn and shy is no way to leave Living’s easy to get by Painless to forget just when to die A road diverged But they both lead home Do you know of a place we can go Not to run not to hide But to buy us time So we can grow so we can know So we can grow so we can know If you want me to regret Missing our window I’ll take the rest What’s best isn’t what’s preferred Happiness is a doubled edged word Such is the way so it seems Stay afloat long enough you can breathe Living’s easy if you try To push thoughts of flying away aside
3.
Lawless 02:40
You’ll be wiggling toes Pale white, surrounding pink rose The piggies are back from their chores Time for bed, time for bed, time for bed You’ll dream up wonderful woes Quickly, brush ‘em off, don’t be soft They’ll be disappearing soon No regrets, no regrets, no regress But maybe, they’ll wake up in your Bedroom, secretly, quietly And you’ll be screaming out loud What about, what about, what about my Time spent working it out Thought I’d be done with this awfulness Please just get out of my head
4.
I can hear so much in your sighs I can see so much in your eyes There are words we both could say Don’t talk, put your head on my shoulder Come close, close your eyes and be still Don’t talk, take my hand, and let me feel your heartbeat Laying here with you feels so right We could live forever tonight Let’s not think about tomorrow Don’t talk, put your head on my shoulder Come close, close your eyes and be still Don’t talk, take my hand, and let me feel your heartbeat Listen, listen, listen
5.
Disabler 04:51
Shut the doors and windows, now I can’t hear your voice anymore A fortnight in these formicate walls The sky, it amplifies Tightly shut spider legs Curled up for some happiness Spin your words, don’t wander in Fear not my vanity Those gossamer lies that you shot from your hips And I, debonair with machine gunner lips Oh, fire for fire, year after year I still hear the sirens calling whenever you’re near
6.
Forgive me for all the confusion I misread the heart fueled by delusion I would take a test or two To prove my name to you But you insist on throwing it right back Oh, yes you do Please stay awake... So you can lead me through
7.
Take the time off
8.
Windowsill 05:22
Our limbs are tongue tied when I don’t know just what to say My heart is frozen I keep it out on my windowsill I climbed an eight-foot wall with ease I scraped my knee, I shed tears of kerosene Still I can’t hear a word you say to me Once a furnace we shovel in the ash and sighs Wasting our time Looking for sparks too shy I climbed an eight-foot wall with ease I scraped my knees, I shed tears of kerosene Still I can’t hear a word you say to me Colder than hell And I think I’m dressed for it You say you’ve been well Widen the frame See what’s been hiding from me Thaw those old bones

No more fucking sutures

We’re making our own mess Distressed and depressed When life gives us lemons We’ll move to the West!

about

Hello friends,

This is our very first album. It's called Grand Opening. We've put in hundreds of hours, heart, and soul into this record; we are very proud of it. Do hope you like it.

Two things:

1) You can pay whatever you want for it. We appreciate anything you want to throw our way, but we won't hate you if you don't pay us (promise).

2) Please listen to it in order, as a whole, at least once.

Thanks for your ears. Thanks for your support.

Always,

Coast Jumper
