Western Star 04:06
Check my teeth for blood I've been outside, looking at the stars again You stayed indoors, staring at the radio suffering in their throes Comb through my hair again, picking out flaws Hiding in the reverie Where you lived before, painted all those pretty things That have rusted gold I've been outside Check my teeth for blood I've been outside, looking at the stars again Where you lived before, painted all those pretty things That have rusted gold

Darkness calls But I don’t think to mercy it Seventeen tries to Answer its precedent Cold, it falls Just to grey out some eloquence Slipped in sheen fighting For some old evidence I’m colder now, too Thin glass keeping true Blankets out, Amber walls around plummeting Hurry up before It’s all lost to everything I’m older now, too This white canvas looms’ The lies I told they were so beautiful A careless wit I drew so slyly The downy dreams that used to shield my head They shadow me and smother in the night Am I just painted blue The downy dreams they were so beautiful A shadow of me drawn so slyly The lies I told they smother in the night The careless wit used to shield my head Am I just painted blue Darkness calls but i don’t think to mercy Cold, it falls, amber walls come down Darkness calls but i don’t think to mercy Cold, it falls amber walls come down A careless wit I drew myself so sly The downy dreams that smother nightly They shadow me and they use my head to shield The lies I told, they were so beautiful Am I just mad at you

Don't feel so sorry 'cause you know just how I feel Friends all around me makes this loneliness so real I could use a shoulder But you're too proud for that If this is what it means to be older I guess I'm right on track Your lips are moving while your words are spilling out Advice from all those who are so filled with self-doubt I could use a shoulder But you're too proud for that If this is what it means to be older I think I'll just turn back

King Phillip 04:37
If I see you walking I’ll turn the other way and let you just pass by If I hear you talking I’ll let it in one ear and out the other side Skinny wrists won’t tell you the time Cold hands rummaging, through your papers, your safer days Tried to find something that you’d mind Faux-nostalgic drawl itching deeper and deeper still Would I admit to being so much older When we still don't know What it is to be young, so very young in our youthful blunders Would I admit to being so much older When we still don't know What it is to be young, so very young in our youthful blunders Pale lips kissed won’t sell you a smile Try to reminisce on nothing, nothing still If I admit to being much younger, would we still have time? Would I admit to being so much older We still don't know
5.
Blackout 04:38
Blackouts down the shore I don’t know what it’s for I try to stay alright Scavenge for something more Oh, the bodies lay, such a bore They try to stay alright Driving softly speaking no words We'll meet in silence I know that we'll part I know that we'll part Parkway signs aglow I know that we'll part I know that we'll part Tunneling all night long Try to find something fun We tried to stay alright Walking into graves And rocks impossibly brave They try to stay alright We'll meet in silence I know that we'll part I know that we'll part Parkway signs aglow I know that we'll part I know that we'll part I know that we’ll part.

We have memories so we can have roses in December.

about

The End of Broad Slough was recorded over the span of a few months in 2013 and almost remained unfinished, but with the help of over 80 backers raising over $2800 in funds, we were able to finish it, get it mastered, and press it to vinyl. We hope you enjoy it!

Two things:

1) You can pay whatever you want for it. We appreciate anything you want to throw our way, but we won't hate you if you don't pay us (promise).

2) Please listen to it in order, as a whole, at least once.

Thanks for your ears. Thanks for your support.

Always,

Coast Jumper
